Description:

Set on more than six hundred beautiful acres and featuring more than 50,000 sq. feet of indoor riding areas, Fire Stables is the largest equestrian facility in the Kansas City area. When Fire Stables decided the time was right to generate some of their own electricity on-site with solar power, they chose Cromwell Environmental to install their photovoltaic system. At the time of installation, the 118,440 Watt system is the largest in the state of Kansas and the Kansas City area. 504 solar panels are mounted to the roof over one of the facility's two gigantic indoor arenas. This system will provide more than half of the power that the entire site uses.
