Description:

Central Vermont Public Service (CVPS) is Vermont's largest electric utility. This 50 KW solar project is part of the CVPS Solar Project and Renewable Education Center. This solar array can generate up to 50 kilowatts of electricity from 264 solar panels, mounted on 33 posts. Each panel is about 3 feet tall and 5 feet wide; eight panels are mounted together on each support structure. The site is located next Route 7 in Rutland, Vermont.
